A Pair of Staffordshire "Jackfield" Whippets - circa 1860

Probably made in Staffordshire.

A classic pair of Whippets.
Made in the "Jackfield" pottery style in a stunning black glaze.
The Jackfield pottery was in Shropshire,
but many potters moved between potteries.
This is a classic staffordshire model
with their dash dot dash motif on the base.
Staffordshire or Shropshire ?
who cares, they are lovely.

This pair is immaculate,
in excellent condition.
You rarely see perfect pairs of this delicate model.
But you do now.

There is no damage.
There is no restoration.

Height: 6.5 inches
