A Staffordshire Greyhound - circa 1845

A superb big Staffordshire Greyhound.

Nearly all the Staffordshire "Long Dogs" are indeed Greyhounds.
Often referred to as Whippets, no - the king of dogs in Victorian times
was the Greyhound.  Coursing was hugely popular and the
Champion dogs were celebrities.

This is a rare model of a greyhound,
very good modelling and excellent quality.

It is in very good condition,
with no damage and
with no restoration.

Height: 8 inches Length: 10.5 inches
