A Pair of Staffordshire Pottery Dalmations - circa 1855

A stylish pair of spotty dogs.

Dalmations were popular in the 19th century,
as of course they are today.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes,
the staffordshire potters did not miss their chance
and made lots of them.

This is  a good pair
with their striking spots, orange snouts
and another chance for that cobalt blue base.

They are in very good condition
with no damage and no restoration.

Height: 7 inches
