A Pair of Staffordshire Dalmations - circa 1845

A lovely pair of Staffordshire Dalmations.
Made be the "Disraeli" factory.

Our Staffordshire potters
made dogs of all shapes and sizes.
Dalmations were popular,
so may pairs were produced.

This is a superb pair,
They are a true pair that have always been together.
They have an impressed no.13 - a model number
impressed on the base at the back.
They are therefore an early and excellent example.
You will see many pairs of dalmations,
but this is a proper pair.
They are quality.

There is no restoration,
a couple of minor glaze chips
and no other damage.

Height: 5.25 inches
