Major General Sir Henry Havelock
Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath.
Born in Sunderland,
Havelock had a memorable record of service
for the British Army in the;
First Anglo-Burmese War
First Anglo-Afghan War
First Anglo-Sikh War
Anglo-Persian War
and the Indian Rebellion.
He was created a Baronet
and a statue erected in Trafalgar Square
for his services to our nation.
This is the only example of this very rare figure I have seen.
no known coloured example exists.
It is superb quality and attractive portrait figure.
