A Staffordshire of General Sir George Brown - circa 1854

A very colourful, attractive, historic Staffordshire Figure.

General Sir George Brown was a British hero,
he was knighted in 1852 after his service
in the Peninsular War.
Sir George fought in the Crimean War 1854-56
commanding the famous Light Division.

This figure pairs with Sir James Simpson.

This figure is immaculate,
without doubt the nicest example I have seen,
in excellent condition., it really is perfect.
The modelling is very good,
all the enamels are perfect.
The colouring is lovely, bright and the cobalt blue glowing.

There is no damage.
There is no restoration.

Height: 13 inches
