A Pair of Staffordshire Salukis circa 1845
Salukis? Setters? Gun Dogs?
Well who really cares, they are just beautiful Staffordshire dogs.
We will call them Salukis.
They have such style, wonderful bases, even the birds are lovely.
Salukis are the coursing dogs of the desert, and yes they do look like them.
The colours on this pair
seem to be all underglaze,
They really are a special pair.
You will not find better.
They are in wonderful condition,
as they left the factory.
With no damage
and no restoration.
