Celebrating the Alliance during the Crimean War,
Queen Victoria with The King of Sardinia.
Victor Emmanuel II, the King of Sardinia
joined the Allies in 1855,
sending 10,000 in the war against Russia.
In 1861 he was proclaime the first King of Italy.
This Alliance was recorded by our Staffordshire Potters
with this large and magnificant figure.
Sharply modelled, well coloured
and beautifully painted,
this is a superb example in excellent codition
There is no damage.
There is no restoration.
