A Pair of Staffordshire Pottery Spaniels - circa 1850

With seperate legs and wonderful expressions

Queen Victoria's favourite dog was a King Charles Spaniel named "Dash"
and the Staffordshire potters started making Spaniels of all shapes and sizes to
decorate fireplaces throughout the Country.

This is a lovely pair of red and white Spaniels
in very good condition
with just a little flaking of the enamels.

There is no damage
and there is no restoration.

Height: 7.5 inches
